Sparti Airport lies about 17 km south of Sparta in the Laconia regional unit of the Peloponnese. It has a single asphalt runway (06/24) measuring roughly 916 by 23 metres and sits at an elevation of about 152 metres above sea level. The nearest airports are Kalamata to the west-northwest and Tripoli to the north. The field no longer operates scheduled civilian service.
