Skiathos International Airport "Alexandros Papadiamantis"

“Alexandros Papadiamantis”
IATAJSI ICAOLGSK

This Sporades island airport opened in 1972 on land reclaimed between Skiathos and the islet of Lazareta. Its short, narrow single runway of about 1,628 metres limits traffic to aircraft no larger than the Boeing 757, and its dramatic low approach over an adjacent road makes it a favourite among aircraft spotters. Welcoming over 600,000 passengers in 2024, it is heavily seasonal, with strong demand from Britain and Italy.
