Kastellorizo Airport, opened in 1986, serves the tiny easternmost Greek island of Kastellorizo (Megisti) in the Dodecanese and is the eastmost airport in Greece. Located about 2.5 km southwest of the main town, it has a single 800-metre asphalt runway (13/31) and a compact 150-square-metre terminal able to handle one Bombardier Dash 8 plus a few light aircraft. Olympic Air operates scheduled flights to Rhodes, providing a vital connection for this isolated frontier island.
