Astypalaia Island National Airport, also called Panaghia, is a small state-run airfield on the Dodecanese island of Astypalaia, sitting near the village of Analipsis about twelve kilometres from the main town. Owned by the Greek government and run by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority, it provides a vital lifeline for this remote butterfly-shaped island, where ferry links can be slow. Its single asphalt runway, oriented 15/33, stretches roughly 989 metres, suiting regional turboprop aircraft.
